Immunization & Vaccine Administration
Immunization & Vaccine Administration
Vaccines remain one of the most reliable ways to prevent illness across every stage of life. At Arkansas Family Medicine, our physicians and nurse practitioners administer seasonal flu shots and a full range of immunizations on site, so patients of all ages can stay current on recommended vaccines during a regular visit.
Who Immunizations Are For
- Children & Adolescents — routine childhood and school-required vaccines.
- Adults — boosters, seasonal flu shots, and travel-related immunizations.
- Older Adults — vaccines recommended for age-related health protection.
What to Expect at Your Visit
Before your immunization, our team may review your vitals as part of a standard check-in. Vaccine records and any follow-up notes are documented and available for review through our secure Digital Patient Portal, making it easy to keep track of what you've received over time.
Planning Ahead
- Combine Visits — immunizations can often be added to a wellness visit or physical.
- Family Scheduling — multiple family members can be seen for immunizations in the same visit.
